Photo of Susan & Michael was taken after waiting about 2 hours on Monday to see the doctor. We were all a little keyed up so Michael took the edge off by saying "you think they've been wondering who the cancer patient is?" it felt good to be able to laugh, others weren't taking the wait quite so well, if you know what I mean.
It actually worked out to be a good thing or you could call it a God thing, The surgeon she was originally scheduled to see was so far behind due to an emergency earlier in the day so a different Surgeon met with Susan and she immediately felt a connection with her. We all feel confident that she is the surgeon Susan was meant to have. Funny how things work out.
