Lovin' Linda

I study with Linda on Thursdays and always look forward to practicing with her. It was even better this week since my Mixed level class I taught on Wednesday felt more like a belly flop than the swan dive I had planned. Analogy courtesy of my sweet teacher friend Sue who found a supportive way to quiet my inner critic, reminding me...it happens. I tried to squish too much into one class, should have slowed down and given more attention to the details instead of trying to fit it all in...hindsight.
So just what I needed to learn appeared Thursday morning, the theme was "Pausing", taking the time to consider the choices before just charging ahead. I Love, Love, Love Linda's classes and I am so grateful to have her as my teacher. I want to pass it on... to offer my students what she gives me, so I'll continue to show up and do the work. I always leave feeling so much better than when I arrived, can't ask for more than that!
Happy Friday!

  1. great analogy :) and we all belly-flop from time to time (in one way or another!) so just honor that you care enough to change your methods when you realize there may be a more effective way! :) Sincerity in our path matters greatly more than the particular outcome.

P.S. Great yoga teachers are just so...great, aren't they?! :) But even they, after all, are human.
