as we say farewell to our February focus word "Foundation" we remember it is our underlying support, not always flashy and fun, yet necessary and always worth the effort. Although we won't be directly verbalizing in each class it will hopefully remain and add a certain quality of awareness each time we align and realign, offering stability so that we can open and offer more fully.
On a teaching note: I am grateful that i was able to stick with this foundational focus for an entire month, I am usually all across the board, scrambling and scattered trying to reinvent the wheel before each class. So this idea of one focus word per month is the "Foundation" of my teaching this year! Those of you in the organized realm may find this super simplistic, but let me tell you this is a major breakthrough for this "wait til the last minute" gal.
