Can "right" be wrong?

OK, OK... if you watched the foot yoga flip/clip from my last post you may be wondering how I was able to say the word "right" so many times in only two minutes? also if in regular conversation my words draw out so slowly and seem to run together? The only explanation is OH MY GOSH I must really sound like that and unless someone superimposed the word right onto my flip recorder then I use it wayyyy too often. I was ready to ditch it (don't have the time or skills to polish, just wanted to put something out there that may be helpful?) when I came across a post written by Emma over at The Joy of Yoga blog you MUST follow the link and watch "Jessica's Daily Affirmations" it is so great!!! I'm going to start doing something like that every morning, though I probably won't stand on the sink counter, seems a bit risky for me?
So although it's a rough first attempt at a short clip, the foot/tennis ball rolling is super beneficial and Teddie looks darn cute in savasana at the end! As Jessica so enthusiastically says "I can do anything good".

Thanks Emma for such an encouraging post and DAILY sequences! I'm stressing about creating two or so per week and Emma generously shares one per day! Fun themes, guest post and a new sequence each day... great inspiration for home practice and classes alike, check it out!

Whenever I watch or listen to recordings of myself teaching I'm so surprised by how often I say "er..." or pause for too long. Still I guess we all do something like that!

  3. I loved your accent in the post!! not very often I get to hear that not on American TV. :)

Also, I always think my voice sounds ridiculous when it's recorded... a weird blend of French Acadian accent... but not really. :)
